Can you control spotify through the pioneer avh-p8400bh when connected to the iphone? Also when in advanced app mode can you still listen to audio if in the GPS? I am really considering this for my truck as I have heard good reviews but I can't find answers to these two questions. Thanks

I installed the 8400 a few weeks ago and there is currently no support for spotify yet. I have read that they are looking to add it in a firmware update but I wouldn't hold my breath!

If anyone else is interested I went to Best Buy the other day and put my iPhone on an appradio 2 to see if spotty would work. It worked and I was able to control changing the song but there was no music info on the screen.

I upgraded it from the AVH-4300DVD and I totally love it. This unit does everything I want, and it's very fast and responsive. Changing songs on the 4300 seemed to take forever but it's all very snappy now. I'm really enjoying the integrated BT, I missed having my phone book showing up on the unit (it didn't on the 4300)

That is good to hear. I will be purchasing the unit in a couple weeks most likely. I just hope that audio quality when on the phone stays the same or gets better then what I have stock now. Thanks
