so my 3" procomp lift is not sufficient. i want 2-3 more. so my question is...... can i put a 2-3" spacer on the front without needing new UCA's? the back I'll probably go with blocks. and i dont wheel. and i actually like more stiffness in my ride. so need new UCA's with spacers or no? I'm thinking probably the answer is yes but i wanted to make sure.

I dont see the problem stacking spacers on a lift? a lift is just a bigger coil and strut. if you put spacers on stock coils and struts. whats the problem with putting them on an aftermarket set? unless its the issue with UCA's...

I'm not going to spend $1000 to drive down the street 3" higher. lol and those are drop bracket lifts. I have a prerunner. Spindles are a grand also so thats a negative. Up high, Cheap is the idea here.

now say you put billies on your truck at set at 2.5 and then tried to stack a spacer on it, i would say your a dumbass. but with the aftermarket strut and coils i have the full range of motion still so why not? i dont go driving over curbs and shit.

6" from the spring\spacer combo will ride beyond terrible and will not be geometry correct

Well then why is your 3 inch you already have not sufficient. not tryin to be a dick but if the only thing you are doin is ridin down the road and the toughest terrain you see is the bump in the driveway why go another 3 inches. It would be a terrible ride and and risk in snapping a strut

Why are you asking if you don't want to listen to these guys' opinions? I think 3 inches is more than enough lift. The only cheap safe thing you can do is get a body lift and look like a moron

With a spacer on the top it will not put any preload on the spring, but will hyper extend the shock on full droop.

Top plate spacers extend the length of the assembly to where, when the vehicle rebounds, it will over extend the shock, thus risking breakage.

The bigger the spacer, the greater the chance of carnage.
A link that will answer everything spacer

If you're asking for a 6" lift out of spacer without a drop bracket because it's cheap, then the answer is that is impossible. This is a fact: spending a lot of $= high quality lift. Best suggestion is do more research before buying a lift, we have a grip of threads already addressing this. Best way to lift a 2wd is a spindle and rear leaf pack, start with that idea in mind and work around it.

If you really want 6" then you're way better off selling your 3" lift now, and then buying a 6" lift

DR coilovers AAl 285 kelly safaris lightbar/skidplate need more!
Although it would be a horrid idea to do the stacking, you would shit your pants trying to put the procomp coil/coilovers in with a spacer lift on top even if you took the spindle apart from the uca for install... stick with what you got or get a 6" drop bracket since you dont need any offroad assistance with the lift.

I have no experience with lifts yet but stacking spacers still seems sketchy to me. Good advice here OP, Id take it. Good luck man.
