3 Leaf AAL + TSB

Hi,

I will be installing next monday my lift kit. 2011 DC LB. Should I put the 3 Leafs AAL with TSB rear leaf or without and should I keep the overload too or not? The kit is ICON Coils with shocks all around with the 3 leaf pack.

I plan to lift it 2.75 to 3" in the front. And I want a level look. Don't like the rake. Actually I have 1" more in the rear with the TSB.

What do you guys think?

Your call. You gain 1.5" without the overload, 2" with the overload in place. If you plan to tow or haul, I'd suggest leaving the overload in place.

 

TSB plus Icon 3 leaf and no overload can hold 200-300 more pounds in the bed than the TSB with overload alone. However, without the overload the absolute limit it can carry is less. If you don't want a rake don't keep the overload unless you have a toolbox, full size spare etc to weigh down the rear.

 

Look at my gallery. I have mine set at 2.75ish and have the tsb+ 3AAL no overload and it's very level. If/when it starts to sag ill just add the overload back on.

 

Ok, great. Thanks everybody. I went with 3 Leaf AAL with TSB but no overload. It's perfect, The truck is leveled. Very please with the ride.

Add the U bolt flip kit... gives you a half inch plus of ground clearance.

 

Thats on my to-do list actually but good to know
