Haha yea man 151 cooper. We had another shop in industrial drive where all the product was and my warehouse on cooper was just for the cars. Economy went to shit, sold most of the cars and one building. Now all the product in cooper.

I need some help here, I am finally pulling the trigger and buying some UCAs. I have read a million of thread that turn into pissing matches about UCA. I figured I would ask some of you guys because we live in about the same area with the shitty salt air. I have narrowed my choices down to TC or the DSM there is only about a $50.00 difference between the two and what is nice a out the DSM UCA is the Uni ball is stainless. I know a couple of you are running the TC and I am not sure about the DSM. It seems more people run the TC. If anybody has some input to help let me know the trigger is getting pulled on Friday. Thanks.:)

DSMS uses stainless and I have had the same stainless balls in my TC for almost twice as long as the chrome lasted me with zero issues.

TC used chrome and in my experience I only got 9 months out of them before they failed and had to be replaced at a cost of $100 for the balls and at least 2hrs of my time.

I believe AP might actually have an OK design right now with a stainless ball and a cap, but I'm not sure. I have issues with their employees so only buy from them if I have to.

While chrome is harder and should last longer that's only in a desert condition. Once you factor in humidity and salt the DSMS is the way to go unless you get TC with chrome balls which will increase the price difference significantly.

If your going with uniballs I would go DSMS. I think Josh (Jlink) has them :notsure:

Unless your beating the poop out of it all the time and aren't looking for maximum articulation maybe check out a sealed BJ type UCA. I can't comment on them from experience though.

Thanks for the feed back. I think I found one of Boyd's old threads from way back with the pitting issues. For the shits and giggles I called Down South motorsport to find out how much more the TC UCA would be with the stainless Uni ball. The DSM UCAs are on back order for a while due to and issue with the supplier. He also told me he started a group buy on TC. I am just going to jump in on the group buy.
