I have 5000k in my head lights and 3000k in my fogs. The output is great but the scatter is ridiculousness on the Tacoma. I'm going to do a retro fit later but until then, this works great for lighting up the 'police' sign on the cop cars ;)

Here are a few pics of the output.

It was a bitch! We had to swap clam shells and gears because the correct clamshell with the right gears had a different input shaft!

Hey guys I need some info....

While Trolling the forum I keep seeing bits and pieces hinting that the tailgates are weak as shit on Gen 2's.

Is there a way to reinforce it or support it so it doesn't buckle? I reaaally would like to work on this before I fuck it up.

I get my Taco tomorrow and am going to be carting heavy furniture around in the near future...

That rumor is true. My old tailgate would best be suited as a taco shell...no pun intended.

Just take it off when you put heavy stuff into it. Takes about 10 seconds, I think Chris 4x4 has a video of him doing it.

My pink shirt. I know it wasnt your style because it had sleeves. haha

I always do my walk of shame shirtless down the apartment complex. The ladies like it that way.

    Fixed

Check out my build thread, i added square tubing in my tailgate to where it is most prone to failure.

Awesome. Someone knocks my helmet off my bike this morning and doesn't even care. Then my wallet falls out of my pants when I left for lunch, I've been searching for it and leaving notes in case someone finds it. I find it in the trash can on the top floor of the parking garage. Money/Credit/Debit cards gone, free movie passes gone, everything else was scattered into the trash can. Everything was soaked in soda. At least I don't have to get a new SSN or driver license.
