That's a great idea. That didn't even cross my mind. Would be fairly cheap, too.

I've never converted one, personally. Not sure if a carb would bolt up to the factory Intake. Maybe Bill will chime in on this. Sounds pretty simple.

I understand you dont wanna dump more money in, but a 4.0l swap would be sweet.

Ouch! I'm willing to bet there's nothing wrong with your motor though. It's likely something electronic.

No idea man. If it's a cheap fix, i'd do that before selling it. You're not going to get what you've already put into it.

Man there is a little shop in Alabaster headed north on 31 on the right side of the road, those guys are great...have them hook it up to a reader, or have Bill do it...track it down.

You could take a video and post it over on YotaTec forums. Someone there might know right off the top of their heads what's wrong with it.

I would love to but it wont start now.... it's got gas and everything else that an engine needs to start! lol I spent over 800 dollars last week, including fuel. 550 of it went to the knock sensor.... the rest was fuel for the truck i was driving... I am going to try the AFM mod and see if it will start/run better.

scratch that.... went to look at the truck and noticed that a fuel injector's wire was spliced together along with a wire leaving the distributor going somewhere. copper was showing on it. going to take the throttle body off and clean it reall good. gonna take a look at the intake side of it also. while it's off I am going to try and spray some starter fluid in it and see if it will fire.

I don't think bill has been on all day. Sent him a PM about the CEL and not having any power lastnight and he usually responds first thing in the morning. He might have been busy all day.
