Green01 made some stickers a while back saying Northeast Tacomas. I think only a few of us still have them.

Eric I talked to him before the first meet in February. He's still around, has his Tacoma and still in the print, sticker business. As far as the Tacoma meet what do you guys think? Should we do this thing? They are looking to make this a big deal with a lot of trucks but are talking about having hosting clubs, a DJ, rock crawling, show and shine, sponsors and everything. They are looking at me to not only put most of this whole thing together but also front the money to insure it, pay the DJ and buy the food.

That is some serious cash layout. You would need a big dealer or big club to foot the bill.

That makes no sense they are going to have a show to bring in cust and make people aware of their shop but they want you to organize and fund it. Whats not to like:eek:. Is someone:rasta:

Well thier idea is to have people pay $10 for per vechile entrance fee. Which wouldn't be that bad considering if it had rock crawling, RTI ramp, with vendors, prizes and everything. The entrance fee would be to pay for everything, but I just wanted an idea of what everybody would think before I keep going.

Sounds cool and everything but you shouldn't be on the hook for it financially when the businesses are the ones that stand to profit from the event. If you were only talking a couple hundred bucks, that's one thing but you'll be in the thousands and 100% at risk if the event flops. I think at best you should be the one to organize the event and the vendors should be the one to foot the bill once you get all the ideas in front of them. Just my $0.02.

That is taking on all of the risk without any reward. Its one thing to organize an event, but its another thing to have to foot the bill if you dont stand to make any money
