WANTED. 2nd gen Tailgate

Looking for a tailgate, preferably kinda damaged to keep costs down. It will eventually be chopped up so I'm not looking to buy a mint condition gate, that would be a waste.

It'll be for a prototype tiregate-ish contraption if you're wondering

How far from San Diego are you?

 

I'll have mine for sale in +/- a couple months when we fab up a flatbed for my rig. Don't have an exact price, but I generally sell this kind of stuff for cheap. Plus I'm fairly close to you (2-3 hours). It's in great shape.

 

I am about 5 hrs north of SD

Sweet man that flat bed conversion will look sweet.

I'll be sure to check with you down the road, hell I might even do a pick up just for the trip.

thanks man. and actually, give me about a month or less and I should have that tailgate to sell to you. Shoot me an offer in the meantime. I can also meet you in Sacramento so you don't need to drive as far, but that will cost you a tad bit more.

Steven (Valon5150) will be fabbing the flatbed. He's the same local guy who built my sliders.

Negative. I thought I had found a local guy who was selling his for $150 but when I met him he bumped the price to $250

I'm still lookin.
