just a heads up, you're going to have to lower the box (normally the bottom of the box is 3" off the floor) to get the new range to slide all the way in.

gonna need a 4 11/16" box and a 14-50R (range receptacle). if you don't have a basement the wire likely comes from the top, so you'll have to junction the wires in the existing box.

    UPDATE:

Hammer drill died, so I had to run to Homedepot to get a new one. I needed to drill into the concrete to install an "Anti Tip" bracket. After I got that done, I found that the 40 year old wireing and conduit wouldnt match the shit on the new oven. SO......I made it work, turned on the power (Julie took the dogs, and hid in the back bed room). IT WORKS! Now, I just have to insall it in its spot, level it, and clean it up a bit.....and turn the power back on. Oh.....And I found out what breaker is for the oven, and labeled it accordingly.

ALso to note, the only injury sustained thus far, is glass in my left hand finger. I can only guess it is left over from when Julie blew up the oven.

Yeah, I bought a corded Makita. The old one was a Makita too, but was pretty dam old......probably 20 years. As for the wiring, Im hoping its good too. I hate electrical work. Mostly because everytime I do it, I shock the shit out of myself.
