A few days in Jax and you will be ready to go back

 

So by 10:30 this morning i was out pressure washing my house in prep for my painting. I wanted to get that done, fill the cracks and apply the "conditioner" by the end of today. Well, in the process i used my outside garage door keypad to shut the door so i could clean it, guess i got it wet cause it wouldnt work after!!! I sat on my back porch for the last 1 1/2 hours with no way in my house. I kept messing with that stupid remote thing and finally just got in. Not a very good start to this project!

 

well... on the bright side, good thing ur garage door opener wasn't damaged permanently

 

To top it off, i am already starting to get sunburn, only out there a few hours, and i still have tons of time left to be out there, gonna be hurting by the end of the week.

They last 5 years. Before Toyota my give a damn didnt give enough damn to get my ASE's.

 

So, with locking myself out of my own house, i got the pressure washing done and filled all the cracks. Tomorrow i will put on the "conditioner" stuff, then paint on thursday.

My arms are as red as a lobster right now, not looking forward to spending the next 2 days outside with my arms so sun burnt already.

 

My neighbor thats fixing my truck sent me a pic tonight. Cant wait to get her back!!!

 

My uncle painted my truck (not a cheap job either, he has been doing body work and painting for 30 years...and we used all PPG paint and stuff) and he cut corners in several places, lots of overspray all over the suspension in the fender wells, and I think he put too much hardener in the paint because it chips super easy.

Cant complain too much though, with him being a 'closer' uncle.

Well, my new stereo was supposed to arrive today, but apparently the jackasses working for best buy didn't think putting all of my shipping info on the box was needed, so I sat around waiting on it to be delivered only to see my tracking status get updated at 7pm as undelivered due to lack of a complete address.

 

I hate that, that same thing happened to me last year.

 

Wear some long sleeves!

 

I was thinking the same thing, gonna be hot no matter what, might as well try to avoid further sunburn damage.

 

If I wasn't planning on sleeping thursday morning I'd come help ya paint. I don't mind. I paint my house every other year. I like everything looking new all the time. Ocd I guess

 

You know where i live, the help would be appreciated, but i know you gotta sleep. This is a project i have decided to take on myself, so i shall accept the consiquences.

 

Workin...making the dough so I can finally mod the taco...and the new DRZ400.

My leafs and rear 5100's shipped today. Sliders will be next. Then will take a break from the taco for a while so I can let my checking acct replenish...and so I can start moddin out the DRZ.

But will be doing a rear bumper and UCA's in the near future.

 

Not going to do anything wild on the DRZ. Exhaust, jetting, air filter, cargo rack, led tails...

But I also said I wouldn't put a lot into my last bike (my race bike) but I ended up with over $4k in mods in that one.

There is a kit available to get this DRZ up to 60HP
