awesome thanks...any handheld GPS in the price range of that handheld race radio? I looked up that Lowrance...that's a little hardcore for me :D

EDIT: hmmm kinda dumb question I just asked...looking at handheld GPS they're for hiking...so they don't do the same stuff, or do they?

no yearly fee, $9.99 flat up front, and it isnt a GPS direction app. This think is just like a lowrance.

It wont give you directions, but it will tell you exactly where you are with satellite imagery and it works without cell reception

first of all thank you to all that plan to come out and help, or just simply cheer us on, remember this is one of the bigger races for MORE, so expect alot of Ranger out making sure no one is breaking the rules, please everyone be safe, now if you will be helping out ...."you must register with MORE and get a wristband"....anyone with a wrist band is directly conected to Engage Off Road, so if anyone plans to help us out, "YOU MUST BE ON GOOD BEHAVIOR!!!!" i cant stress that enough, you must have your paperwork in to us.....Engage off road....so we can get you the wrist band, with out the wrist band you will not be able to help Pit, only spectate, and again if you are drinking, running cours or breaking any rules "WE GET PENALIZED!!!!" so if you plan to help understand that you can cause us to be DQ'ed (Disqualified) so again please be on good behavior, once we finishe the race we will have a huge celebration at main pit and everyone will be welcome and can drink (if of age) and can party with us....but while the "Race Course is Active".....ABSOLUTELY NO DRINKING IF YOUR PART OF THE TEAM!!!!!!", if anyone plans to help please contact Mohawk Mike so he can get you the proper forms to fill out, lets me smart everyone and be safe and keep the Desert Racing Scene Alive!!!! and again thanx to everyone who plans to help or cheer us on!.....Hass....EngageOffRoad

These guys have safety vests for $3 a piece:

    15046 Nelson Ave
    #17
    City of Industry

    6268932588

I just called them and they are open til 630pm. Minimum purchase is 10 vests, but they said they could do 5. Someone can pick them up and we'll each pitch in $3.

I dont get off work in DTLA til 6pm :(
