You are very correct in that a lot of thought, time, effort, energy, and money has gone - and continues to go, into this business and our products.

As we very slowly grow in popularity, we are making strides to improve existing designs as well as introduce new products as we believe in continuous improvement.

There are several projects currently in the works that may or may not come to fruition... I will keep you posted as things evolve.

First time to hear of such an issue. I suspect this to be a local issue? Anyone else experiencing something similar?

My lights arrived in the mail today, installation was a snap! The quality was just as I expected, first class.
Anyone on the fence on one of these, go ahead and pull the trigger, you won't regret it. I replaced my battery powered model with this hard wired version.

 

Got my V2 lights yesterday. It took me all of 10 minutes tops to install this. Great product, easy install too! The crimper makes this a piece of cake to install, even if you hate wiring things. Highly recommend to anyone considering it.

 

Are the V2's brighter than the V1, and can you get them with blue and white lights?

^^^ I was under the impression that the only difference between V1 and V2 was the ability to wire into your electrical system, thus eliminating need for battery during day-to-day use. V2 still has the battery, but the battery only comes into use when removed from the base.

 

Essentially correct. The V1 is a 6-volt, battery only system. The V2W is 12-volt. The internals are therefore completely different.

 

Will this unit turn on and off with the parking lights of the vehicle? I'm looking for something that does what this does but I want to install it and have it do it's job without ever needing to turn it on off etc...
