Weird. So they went back down to a 4.6?

I'm still learning Tundras as I came from a Tacoma which I still love/miss. It was my fits wheeling vehicle.

I'm liking it. Windows will be tinted on the next couple of weeks or less followed by exhaust.
How well do these do in the snow/mud?

in snow mine did great. the picture in my signature was a road i was pushing snow on, and it was wet nasty snow they kind that is hard as hell to drive in. i had just turned around when i took the picture, i could have kept going but we had trees down from the weight of the snow.

Yeah at times I miss my tacoma as well.
A wheelin smaller footprint truck w/ a stick would fit the bill.
As far as winter, ours was somewhat tame this year but managed to tow quite a bit to the snow in the mtns.
Liked how the truck performed on the back roads up to camp.
The driveway is pretty long & steep.
I want some different winter specific tires next season & saved my steel rims for that.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
The 4.6 is better than the 4.7.

    How is the 4.6 better?

Also, there's a switch that lets u choose from levels 1-5 with looks like a pic of the fog light on it on the left side...what does it do?

if it's the one i am thinking of it raises or lowers your low beam lights. so if you tow or haul heavy loads you do not blind on coming traffic. it works great, but it takes a few seconds for the lights to adjust to there new place.

Dads '00 tundra is doing some real work. Pulling brothers Audi a4 from charleston sc back to Knoxville. Computer or something was smoking:eek: and dealer in charleston in more than 2x as much per hour of work. So we rented a u haul trailer and towing her back home.

I think for none lifted trucks it is zero. I run mine on 3 and with weight in the back I point them down more on 5.

My buds truck just got out of the shop. It's a 2012 Tundra TFORCE edition. It just got a 7 inch lift with 2 inch wheel spacers sitting on 37" Toyo Open Countries. It has FOX shocks in the rear and he's waiting for them to come out with FOX shocks for the front. I'll upload a picture in a second.

It's the one in the middle obviously. The one on the left has a 6in suspension with a 3in body and the one on the right has a 7.5in suspension lift. The tundra is sagging a bit in the back because it has 4 tires and some suspension components.

Well I'm actually on my phone right now do I can't upload pictures. But I will try to find some more pics of it when I get on my computer later. Yup is a T-FORCE. there are only like 500 of them made each year I'm pretty sure. He said the tforce was only an extra 2k so he just got it. I mean it came with rims, fender flares, painted grill, rhino lined side steps, and a carbon fiber Toyota emblem in the grill. So that's week worth the extra 2k. Idl how much it cost him for the lift and tires but I'd imagine a LOT of cash.
