It's not all young people just the ones raised by shitty parents.

They were brought up as "winners" no matter what they did, so they feel entitled even though they are owed nothing by life.

I feel bad for them actually. No work ethic, no future, college debt, no common sense, etc, etc.

As BGR would say the world needs ditch diggers....just sad the new generation thinks they are above it.

I see it every day at my work. No new young kids coming up in construction. I guess six figure salaries and retiring in 30 years with 2 million in your pension isn't enough these days for the new breed of DB's ?

I hate to agree with a NY DB, but true statement. It is sad, that all they want to do is sit at a desk and collect a check.

 

That is what I do all day. Although it took 4 years of one of the toughest colleges around, then some tough jobs and 2 more years of schooling to get here.

 

like some people i know that went to shitty schools, studying easy bullshit majors, and got themselves in debt from a 4 year vacation. to this day they are complaining how they want to go back to college, how much better life was.

that tells me they didn't study, it wasnt hard. it was a waste of money. im hearing this more and more. i visited that school and people were out getting shit-faced the weekend before finals...some chick was like oh man i have a final on monday and it was Saturday, i was like are you fucking kidding me?

I'm not saying it's a bad thing to do a job like that, but thats what they all expect and want. Afraid or just don't want to dirty the hands.

Sad but true. I see it all around here is Socal. Some kid I see on a weekly basis wears a Hawks hat everyday that I saw him, and right when the Hawks are out out comes his Kings hat. I fucking lit that kid up. Pisses me off more than what I imagine OZ's face looking like.
