wireless aux

Is there such a thing? I googled and didn't really find much. I just use an aux cable from my iphone to my deck now. It'd be really nice to not have the cable

 

Im not too familiar with this but I'm going to go out on a limb here... There might be a wireless Bluetooth setup. I'd try searching for that.

 

Could do bluetooth. What kind of head unit do you have?

 

its rather old. I want to say a pioneer deh 770. Mine has an aux on the front so maybe not..that picture below I don't see it. Looks the same though

That looks like it'd work except 5 hour life on the battery? I don't suppose it charges when plugged into the aux?

no its like 3+ years old. It doesn't have blue tooth if that is what you are after

 

Edit: I've never used that blue tooth thing so I have no clue how well it works. I would say if you care about sound quality, keep it on the wire.

Won't matter what deck you have. Aux input is the same on any stereo. 3.5mm headphone jack is all it is. If you have Aux, it will work.

 

Why not get one with blue tooth streaming that's what I have And the sound is awesome

I have the 4 and I know that has blue tooth. The link posted a few back is a blue tooth receiver but it also says it has a 5 hour battery life unless I understood that wrong. Maybe its time for a new blue tooth deck like The1youluv2hate suggested

 

It says 5 hours of talk time. You might get a few extra hours from just audio only.

I'd look into a deck that supports bluetooth audio streaming if you want to shell out the money for it. They are pretty common these days.

Still, if you care about sound quality don't stream via bluetooth. It's not good for sound quality. Unless your bluetooth device and deck support the APT-X codec, you are loosing sound quality.
