Nope. They just give more ground clearance by relocating the front wheels farther down

only thing you have to worry about with wheels spacers and spindles that make your wheels stick out farther is scrub radius:

Draw a line from your upper spindle ball joint or uniball through your lower spindle ball joint and have that line continue until it hits the dirt. When that line hits the dirt should be the exact center of your tire's contact patch with the dirt.

If that line hits inside the tire, then your steering is easily knocked around my small bumps on the trail/road. If it is outside the center of the tire then steering is not as responsive.

Which means these trucks have regular steering response etc right?

not really, the two red lines should meet at the road or above, which is called negative scrub radius. Both pictures show positive scrub radius, which is NOT desirable. However, because we all try to fit huge tires by getting low back spaced wheels and wheel spacers, we inadvertently create positive scrub radius/

actually, because our trucks have mcpherson strut set ups, negative scrub radius is preferred:

On your truck, say you lift your truck to monster truck status, the lines will meet at the point then thats negative scrub?

the height at which the truck is lifted doesnt change the pivot points at the spindle. The only ways to change the scrub radius are:
    - moving the wheel closer/farther from the spindle thru wheel offsets and spacers
    - custom spindles that move the upper pivot closer to the frame or lower pivot farther from the frame.
    - maybe some other ways i cant think of right now.

brain fart, double wishbone. should the scrub radius still be negative? or is zero preferred?

Optimal is the have the KPI hit around an inch inboard of the tire center line. So just slightly negative, but that's optimal
