I did the secondaruy charcoal filter delete a couple days ago. Took it out into the back woods yesterday. Seatbelt chimes drove me crazy out there. So I searched here last night to find out how to disable them. Found the information I wanted and went out got to work. Found out shortly it won't work on the white guage 2011.

I don't like the idea of having to take it to the dealer to have it done. Wouldn't be bad if it stayed fix even when the battery was disconnected. So I did some more searching and found this thread http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...king-remove-seat-belt-ding-non-permanent.html . Gotta say thanks to the that figured this out. I ended up unbolting the seats from the floor so I could see the buckles easier. Used my pocket knife instead of the little screw driver, and a tape that measures in meters instead of the calipers. After looking at the inside of the buckle it looks like it was made for this modification. The best part of it is it also gets rid of the flashing seatbelt lights.

Now I'm just waiting on my wet okole seat covers and the truck will be done for awhile. Thanks to this place I've found a whole bunch of stuff I want to do, but it will wait till the truck is a little older. I need to save a little money for a piece of property that I can build on.

I just wanted to add that this place has become my new favorite internet hang out. Love this forum, and it's the most helpfull I've ever found.

Yesterday, I added a hanger to my Flowmaster Super 10.
I went from a strait pipe job my friends and I did in autoshop in like 10 minutes.
Its a nut stuck after the Y pipe between the muffler piping.

Then I put on the Super 10 but had hanger problems so I took it off for a day.
Then a kid helped me tack weld on a hanger cut off the old one: I would have but Im not good with a mig yet. Works great now.

How does it look? I have my windshields done w/10% which you basically can't even tell is there other than the difference in heat it allows in. It cuts light transmission only 10% yet cuts heat transmission 58% which is a noticeable difference when you're driving down the road into the sun. The sun on your skin doesn't even feel warm let alone hot. It's a VERY useful mod IMO. You just have to find a shop/person that will do it since it's technically illegal. I'm not worried though because you can't tell it's there so there would be no reason for a patrolman to meter my windshield. I don't even remember the last time I was pulled over let alone had someone want to meter my tint let alone the windshield let alone... I think you get where I'm going with this.

Today, because I am a sophomore, I have to park off campus. All week Ive been parking in the senior lot and going to the shop. But today I was actually early and parked off campus. Someone tried to make a spot in front of me, parking me in and backing into me.

It doesn't look that bad but the paint around it is all chipped, this part in dented in, and the bumper its self is a little saggy. I don't really mind the damage (I'm going to make a bumper in the future) but Im mad because the person parked me in and hit my Taco. I left and note and got their plate numbers. I don't want to get it fixed or anything but just want some $.

    What should I do?

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
Mounted the new Ultra-Gauge. Still tweaking the calibration.

Already had 22 fillups in fuelly and drove enough miles today to push the average up two tenths. I am WHOOPED and my right leg and back are in pain.

However, in two days time I beat my tank mileage record twice - once at 23.4 mpg, another at 24.3 mpg. Stoked I am. Not a whole lot of 6 spd 4x4s pulling 24s :p
