Look on Amazon for RAM Mounts. I've tried other suction cup mounts and they are all worthless, they wobble too much and fall off easily.

The RAM mounts are awesome, and come in all sorts of different combinations depending on your application...

This is my GPS RAM Mount.....very sturdy and NO VIBRATION. I am sure they have one that will fit a iPhone.....maybe.

I'll look but I doubt it. There is also a metal flange that you cannot see in the pictures that holds it to the dash. I'll see what I can find.

Do yo have picture behind the GPS? How its mounted to the dash.

I've been trying to make a bracket I once saw on either here or another taco forum, but it goes inside the AC panel against that wall, held on by 3 screws. I saw someone on here that was selling them to go on the other side (driver), but his didn't account for the 4x4 transfer switch.

There is a company that makes a custom fit bracket for the Taco....let me see if I can find a pic of mine attached.

Here ya go.....these are the best I have...in one pic you can see the bracket coming out from the A/C control panel edge...it just screws into the dash behind the A/C control panel...easy install, all screws hidden.....you can also see the Panavise swivel I attached to the bracket which has the Ram Mount then attached to it. I have since shortened the power cord so it's the right length.

Let me see if I can find the bracket manufacture...it really is the key to this install as once its in, you can mount many, many different configurations and products to it.

OK OK, this thread is getting way out of hand.
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000I7RUFI/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00

Panavice mount for the Tacoma. It works in my 2011. I use it to mount my Garmin Montana, but before that, I had my iPhone mounted. The deal it to install the mount, then from there you can install what you would like. Want to mount an iPhone, get an iPhone holder. Want to mount a TomTom? get the respective ball mount. and mount the unit directly.

photo_bd6681cbfb9b1635831486803de521a189e12895.jpg This is my Garmin Montana Charging Cradle.

For the iPhone, you need the iPhone AMPS mount

http://www.mountguys.com/product_p/apip-vsm.htm This adapter has a double T-slot plate that screws to the Panavice mount, and then the iPhone holder slides in. It does work on the iPhone 4 as well, though not made for it.

This is one of the cleanest ways to install anything into your interior. Velcro wears out, sticky stuff is next to impossible to get get off and looks like you didn't take any time or pride, suction cup mounts scream "break in and steal me".

    Hope this helps.
