That's from 2011. But I sure haven't seen them enforcing this much. Not on street legal vehicles, anyway. The Colorado State Parks system (through which you're supposed to register) sometimes mentions "Jeeps" and sometimes doesn't. Like here .. http://www.parks.state.co.us/OHVsan.../OHVRegistrations/Pages/OHVRegistrations.aspx

In the 1st paragraph, they say, "Off-highway vehicles (OHVs) include motorcycles, dirtbikes, three-wheelers, ATVs, and dune buggies". But then at the bottom of the page, they mention Jeeps.

If they want people to abide by the law, they have to stop being so confusing.

Exactly. I own a dirtbike that has never been on dirt because I plated it to ride to work as well. Granted... I have only had it a few months. I just wonder if I'll every BMW rider is going to get a ticket riding rampart if they don't have an OHV sticker. I guess it's a good thing I don't own a "jeep"

The GF and I wanted to do some camping over memorial day weekend and were planning on going to Arapaho National Forrest. Does anyone know if you have to camp at a campsite, or can you get away with non designated campsite areas?

So long as you're 100 yards from the road/any rivers and are in national forest, you can camp anywhere. Have fun.

I know the spot I have in mind. Found it hunting last year. It is a dead end road that goes a few miles back that branches off of one of the county roads. Stream on one side that has the mountain going straight up with an open field on the other.

Very nice. Might even go down by tincup. Depending on the fire bans. But I don't like camping around random people so all my spots are normally hidden pretty good as well.

agreed, the idea of camping with strangers 50 feet away creeps me out.

Lol that's kinda funny. I've been drunk many of time and riding the light rail. Luckily never an incident. The station near invesco field you have to walk across the tracks to go north surprised I have not seen more people hit there.
