I have this same exact truck, an 07' TRD Off Road package 4X4 Access Cab. Right now I have 5100's all the way around set to the max height level and the rear leaf TSB done. I have been pondering putting on the 6" lift instead. I am curious though how the off road performance is with these lifts. My understanding is that the lift is a permanant thing too because they have to cut out the cross member if I am correct. Any advice or help would be appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Jay

I would of climbed it but my ball was dug into the asphalt, didn't want to jack up the threads. You can tell the rear suspension is unloaded. Oh, Fabtech 295/55/20 nittto

I would say if you want more of off road performance get a good 3 inch lift. I mean i done some crazy things with this 6 inch lift. But going high speeds it sux because the front shocks are way to stiff. I guess i could bring it down to make softer but i am just lazy :p. This lift is not permanent as long as you keep the cross member that you cut out you could re weld it. But if you do go with the 6 inch lift pro comp get the stage 1 and get like icons or Kings. Don't get the pro comp coils they sux. You have to send pro comp coils back to pro comp because they have special machines supposedly which line of bull crap. Oh plus if you get the 6 inch lift get rid of the blocks asap. Go with Alcan custom 6 inch lift pack or All Pro Expo Pack make world of difference.

there is a thread with most of the info on both the lifts in comparision to each other. i run a Fabtech lift and am very happy with it changed out the front coilovers and it is a very well made lift in my opinion, i haul everything from firewood to fish, elk meat and it rides smooth on and offroad.

Just my 2 cents......I've driven many vehicles off road, in deep nasty shit, desert, snow, sand, lots and lots of snow, lots and tons of mud....more deep ruts of mud, mud pits...I had lifts, didn't have lifts, had minor lift, umteen different tires, and blah blah fuckin blah.......

......my point: ALOT is the driver :D. ALOT!!!!!

I never brag about anything but on this conversation I will say I can drive like a muthafucker and i trust myself more than anyone i've driven with in crazy shit situations. People think they lift the truck and they are automatically a pro at off roading (which they end up being the ones I dig or pull out). Common sense and knowing HOW and WHAT you are driving is key in my book.

No lift, 3" lift, 6" or what the fuck ever, I feel I'm capable of doing good driving with whatever I'm in.

Guess that's more like 4 cents....:)

Yeah. I did $112 in 6 days!!!! I filled up then drove to the coast and back then to work and back and filled up again. Tired of this LEGALIZED EXTORTION bullshit.

I filled up Friday and it was $3.89 - drove to the coast and came back Sunday and it was $4.23  I asked my wife if we went into a coma and woke up in 2014....WhatTheFuck!!!!!

The excuse here is the west coast refineries were having problems:confused::confused::confused:

Fuck you!!! I wish I could charge each those oil mutherfuckers $61.00 for 1 single roll of toilet paper OR $4800.00 for a case to wipe thier asses with and tell them "oh, our paper plant was having a problem so use one sheet at a time asshole"!!!!!!

    PUMP ALASKA!!!!
    or TEXAS
or that God forsaken shithole IRAQ where they pay .17c a gallon I hear???
