Soooooooooo Walked away from buying the Taco today. Douchebags were being shady about the Carfax report. Pulled it up on a smartphone while in negotiations, apparently it was a restored title and had been in a serious accident. God Damn assholes were trying to tell me the Carfax report was wrong... so I walked.

    Aaaaaannnd back to research....

I spent 3 hours after that wandering through dealers here in town. Only one other had the options is want (access, 4.0L, 6spd) but they had theirs listed 3k over KBB "Excellent" with waaay to big of tires on stock suspension and wouldn't budge on the price. Wth is up with that?

Thanks, also desert rat quoted me a great price to rebuild my front diff as its already out of the truck (spare).

picked up shackles today too. the rear diff is going to be built by zuk. he kows his shit, but doesnt do the newer front ifs clamshells :(

also, light racing control arms are still waiting to be installed lol

as for the bs, and the nice stuff, i dont see how people steal shit. ive found numerous wallets, cell phones, debit cards and id's and have either returned, attempted to return to service provider, or destroyed in the rare event nothing can be fixed.

See that's an awesome story. And I've found one wallet in a parking lot once, it was from Colorado and I just mailed it back to the person's address on the driver license. Got a letter about 3 weeks later with $100 bill and a big thank you note.

I can buy the tranny and t-case separate, but I want a 2000/2001 engine. An '02/'03 would be fine....I just prefre the other years, as Im going to be supercharging it, and Ive already modified teh FMU on those years with good results. I was told there were subtile changes in them on the 2002's and 3's.

Worse case, some wood, Plexi glass, and screen, and you could build one.

final notes. new wheels and elite bumpers. elites are nice, not worth their price though, even though i got on the group by. for the rear, it was advertised hardware and license plate bracket, neither of which i got. the bracket was bent, but when tightened was pulled straight.

as for the front, between my minor accident, no directions/measurements for cutting, and needing to bend and weld shit, took roughly 9 hours to install the front. the top hoop is cool, but blocks the hipoint lift points.....

    new wheels!

Wont change. The 2.7 is a much more durable engine.
