I know! Im lost I mean I think its a coil but its just strange for it to just happen all of the sudden. And with no CEL to determine which cylinder is actually misfiring is stopping me from making a definitive conclusion as to what the problem is.

    Fixed!!!
    Stole from another forum
The one I got a Autozone says it's 1-2-3-4-5-6 and comes with a diagram as shown:
    -----------------
1 _____ 2
3 _____ 4
5 _____ 6

This had me so messed up it hence the problem.

When in fact it should be like this.

Justin, I like that emblem. You need to make sure that you mount it real good. I would hate for it to "fall off" when you are at one of the meets. You should also see what it looks like a little higher to clear a little more of the lights.

One of the first things I learned changing out plug wires was to replace one at a time, that way you never got the order wrong.

That sounds like you did get two mixed up. I would look up a diagram for wire location and make sure you didn't get them crossed.

    I've always done the same.

Glad to see you got it fixed. Because there are so many things that can change from car to car and year to year, I always recommend changing out one plug with wire at a time. That way you can always be sure you don't make a mistake. Diagrams are written by people, and people make mistakes. Glad to hear you got it fixed now!

THAT was funny there. And yes, I still remember the days of books and repair manuals. I have been doing this for almost 30 years now since my first time working on my stepfathers Mercury.

Well, if I was in town right now, it would be a bit different. I have spent my last 4 b'days in Moscow, on my way to Moscow, or in Kazahkstan. It just seems to become a day like any other. But, as I feel the years passing by, I am starting to realize that it is one less year than what I had before. But, if you guys want to chip in for a present, a cute 5' 2" - 5' 8" 100ish pound Russian hooker would be a pleasant surprise.

I hear you mister "I need a 3" lift so I don't have to duck to get into my truck." Some times you just gotta go for the exotic.

Speaking of BM material, how is the skid plate prep going? You going to want to come up to my house with them to put them on?
