Rattling bumper fix?

Hey all, just wondering if anyone else has had problems with the plastic bumper cover over the metal one rattling when the truck goes over bumps, or a door is shut?

I traced this to the bracket which are not bolted on, but riveted, and am just wondering what, if anything, you have done to fix this.

It's a year old truck with 45K on it, and I don't feel like I should be hearing rattles when someone shuts the doors.

Ideas?

 

Wow, I would have thought this wasn't an isolated incident, but I guess it is.

I'll mention it to the service dept. when it goes in for its next oil change...

 

Have you heard of others having the same issue? I'm just wondering why you'd have thought this was not isolated? And if your truck is still under warranty, (such as yours) the dealer is always the best idea.

I haven't heard of any others, hence my post, and after 24 hours, it had dropped to page three, so I inferred that not a whole lot of people have been affected by this.

A soft hit with the palm of the hand on the bumper sends it rattling away.
