Ah, yea. I can see how that would be a problem. I have the 6 foot bed, and I'm 6 foot even. Usually have to sleep diagonally.

Looks great OP. Question.. do you take the bike carrier off? I was thinking it may cause a calamity if you got caught up in it, getting in or out of the bed.
Stop giving away the secret of Google! If everyone started doing that we would have no questions to answer.:D

The problem I have with all the truck tents out there is that the straps and lines that attach them to the truck as well the tent itself will scratch/rub/wear the paint, especially if you have a layer of dirt or dust on the truck. In windy conditions I have seen wear on the paint's finish down to bare metal over time.

thanks for sharing looks awesome. I'm thinking about getting a hardtop w/ a roof rack so wondering if that combo would work. I'm 5'11" so that tailgate space would be nice

It seems like an innovative product. And I was not aware of existence until seeing this thread so that's good.

x2 Not good in very dusty / windy environments.

Pictured below is my truck after a day of wheeling in Death Valley. Notice how I had to clean the super fine dust from the door handles.

Bummer missed out on the cheap Envoy tent. If anyone has one they decidedthey don't want let me know, I just picked up a topper and this would be perfect.

Sorry guys, I know this is a little bit of an older thread, but does any one know if you HAVE to have the stock roof rails for this?

    Super old thread bump

Anyone know if these are still around and if they (or something similar) would fit a 1stgen DCSB with roof racks?

I've been looking at bigger truck tents, but the expense and size are a turn off. This seems more manageable.
