What to do about a CREEPER at school?

So there is the fellow student in my major that is going around taking pictures of girls' feet. He's trying to do it sneakily but he's not that good at it, and he is creeping everyone out. He's do it in class, sit across the table and try to take a picture under the table, in the computer lab under the desks, etc...

He's a smart guy, very socially awkward, not all that attractive as a doode. Got a pot belly...

Should we confront him? Go code red? Talk to a professor?

 

Of this guy is a nut like that screaming at him or something won't make him stop. I'd let someone higher up handle it. School counselor or something. Guy obviously could use a few sessions.

 

call the freak out when there are lots of people around.

 

ask to see some of the pics. maybe he's got some gems

But seriously, OP. If you're willing to be a little confrontational, call him out on it. Tell him, in front of a few people, that he's creeping people out. He's trying to be sneaky so he clearly knows it's weird. Calling him out will probably make him uncomfortable enough to stop. Or make him a better sneak.

Be nice to him give him a candy bar every once and awhile. When he goes on his inevitable killing spree he may spare you

 

It is just feet, they are out there for everyone to see anyways, its not like he is creeping in the locker room.

Again, I think you just make him uncomfortable by calling him out, but no need to report him.

I'm not a creeper! And I'm not taking pictures of feet...I'm taking pictures of ants...there just happen to be feet nearby.

To some feet may not seem like a big deal, but I doubt most predators start off right away doing terrible things. Could just be the beginning. You'd hate to hear about him abducting or raping someone, etc and thinking oh I used to see him taking pics of girls feet last year.
