Camera in the squad car no workey?

 

dammit, have to go to work... for maybe half an hour.

Morning all. Had to take Erica's car in this morning for no AC... Figured I would get it fixed before we sold it to someone.

 

Well, I expect things to work when I buy them. So I only expect it from myself when I sell.
One of the car dealers we were talking to about the jeep she wants told us that one had been in a huge wreck and put back together. Told me it FIRST thing. No sugar coat or anything. I was pretty amazed he was quick about it.

 

I don't believe in the Mayan thing myself. There are a few things that interest me about it though. And Karma, I absolutely believe in.

I think I watched the same thing, along with all the ancient alien stuff. The thing I don't know about the end of the world is if it will actually "end" or just shift. Some sort of change in the seasons or something to that nature. But I don't see a whole lot changing. Christmas will happen like it usually does, with me deployed again.

 

My sharp objects are retaliating. My kershaw bit me this morning. This comes after my chisel tried to take my thumb off this weekend.

 

Well, it looks like Toby will be leaving us. He has been nipping at people and our vet does not see a good outcome to his behavior. We will be returning him to the rescue as soon as possible.

Not really. Guy needs to brush up on the use of a scroll wheel so he can skip over the double posts.

That is too bad. Hope the next pup works out better.

 

A friend of mine gave me some plants for the pond this spring. i sent her the picture with a Thank You and I thought you might enjoy the pic as well. I did not expect the Iris to bloom this year. A real bonus for me.

Not a lot really once the pond is installed.

The relaxation value is well worth the maintenance time spent. The water feature is very soothing and the pond just makes the stress go away.

Relaxing as well to feed the fish and catch the frogs eating a snack.

 

One item Adam. If you have a young son at home the rocks are like a magnet to a boys feat. Once your son walks on the rocks you will need to restack them every so often.

I had a very unusall maintenance item to do this spring and I ended up restacking all the rock. I estimate I have close to 11,000 pounds of rock around the pond. The project took me about 5 days working a few hours each day. Damn rock is heavy and I an getting older. I can still do the work it just takes longer.
