OME 884s with 5100s

    oil change...
    ok I have a toy tec spacer lift right now givin me 3" in front. I have waiting for me at home is a set of OME 884s and some new billys.
    the coils are suppose to give 2" of lift. What setting do I need to put my shocks at to get the full 3" out of this set up?

    getting there....
    need to keep the 5100's on the bottom/stock setting. not a good idea to preload those coils.

    X2. As you have a double cab, if you want more lift, get the 10mm lift enhancers from Wheelers.

    Hey chris. Shouldn't the 885's be better for his truck since its a DC? But anyways, I have OME 885's installed with 5100's and the top spacers from toytec. Chris said I got a full 3" lift out of it so it should be good.

    He should have had the 885's, but he said he already has them. Not sure if he can exchange them. FWIW, I think you got closer to 3.5" lift with your set up. With the 10mm spacers and all. :)

    That same set up gave PackerfanXD 4" lift on his Prerunner. Im guessing that you may have .5" less as you are 4x4. He has the same size tires and everything, so it gave me an accurate guage of what you got.

    Oh really? Oh okay. Now did it give him a full 4" even when it settled? Because I know mine dropped 1/2" after it settled.:rolleyes: Went from 39.5" to 39".

    So if I can I should send the 884s back and get the 885s?
    Is there really that much of a difference?

    I have this on my truck currently
    can I just use the smaller spacer to get the full 3"?

    About 110lbs of capacity for hte right amount of lift difference. With a DC I don't think you'll get full lift out of 884s...and if you add any weight (skids, sliders, bumper) that'll affect it too.
