Android Pros Help!

Hello TW, all other websites have failed me, but TW never has so here I am!

My Droid 2 refuses to do anything, when I press the power button it just sits at the moto logo forever, sometimes it will show the android man with an exclaimation point.

I haven't dropped it or put it in water since this has happened.

I've also pulled the battery, sim card, memory card in every combination.

Any help would be legendary.

imo you have two options...

1) bring it to your provider and beg for a replacement

2) ditch the p.o.s. and get an iphone4s

ive gone back and forth from iphones to android,,,, somehow i keep ending up with iphone because its more user friendly, easier to use, and easierto deal with (apple)

try to factory reset and just log back into gmail to restore your contacts pull your SD Card b4 you do this so you dont wipe your pix

1. Power down the DROID 2 Global by holding the power button and then selecting Power Off
2. Hold the X key on the keyboard and turn the power back on, keep holding down the X key until you see a yellow triangle icon
3. Now close the slider and hold down the Volume Up button, then press the Camera button while still holding volume up
4. A menu will appear and one of the choices will be "wipe data/factory reset" -- use the direction pad on they keyboard to select this option
5. Scroll down using the direction pad to the "yes" option and select it with the d-pad select key

Thanks for the replys guys, did a soft reset and then smacked it on the floor and it turned on after 10 minutes with no input from me. Damn thing.

I'm probably going to be getting rid of this jankty droid for an iphone soon...

Btw iphone is for the people that can't use a smart phone to it's full potential or want it for a status symbol. 3G is old technology, Ive clocked my 4G as fast as 23mb per sec
