I couldnt hear myself yell 70% of the time, and the last 3 minutes of the game was a serious roar. That save by Smith in the third was pretty crazy, though it was going in.

The Stoll line was amazing tonight.

 

Dave Tippett in his postgame interview talks about embellishment in the league. I agree, but he's got to be naive in the way he's talking, yeah he says some penalties for and against them were result of embellishing, but really man?! Everything else other than that phrase was his way of saying Kings embellished everything, when he should look at his goalie to start with. Shaw got suspended on a dive by Smith, Kopitar gets a bs penalty on a dive by Smith, he really sells the interference call on King in the last game by flailing around like a total idiot, i mean look at your own team (especially your goalie) before blaming embellishment for your loss

I'm not saying he doesn't, I even said he does a few posts back, but its crazy for him to go off and basically imply that his team is a bunch of angels and play honestly while all the Kings do is embellish...

Maybe I'm biased, scratch that, I am biased, but I dont think Phoenix is as clean a team as people think, especially Doan.

I'm still shocked Kop wasnt a finalist for the Lady Byng trophy. He's a true class act

 

Doan is a good player who finishes checks , he's not a dirty player .

I'm just giving you a hard time , for the most part I think LA is just out working the teams they have been up against and they are getting solid goaltending , they embellish some shit but unfortunately that seems to be kinda the way it is with all teams now

 

I went to a game in the old Buffalo arena (early 90's) and we honestly were a little scared at how steep it was. Awesome to watch a game but if you fell over you were heading to the bottom.

 

They are doing that quite a bit but now that Tippet mentioned it I don't think they will do it as much the next game. I did not notice it in the early rounds and hopefully they stop it because they are a good enough team not to do that.

 

The last three teams to do that lost in the finals. Just Sayin.

GO KINGS!!! watched a few of their games during the regular season, but definately a fun team to watch. So for the rest of the time being...il be bandwagon jumping to the KINGS (plus they got 2 of my old fly guys, richie was my favorite player...still dont know why on earth we got rid of him)

They got rid of them because of back room politics. Still not impressed they traded them because a guy like Richards is built for the playoffs. However the Flyers did get some decent players in return but it would still be nice if they could of some how kept Richards
