    Hello fellow members,
    Got a 09 pre-runner Sr5 access cab,
Had a new radio installed by dealer today, under warranty. Seems ok now, original radio would intermittenly turn on/off, a known problem with the stock tacoma radios, anyway they installed a new one right away.
I took notice of all my other dash-lites tonite and noticed that the power window module/switch, which is mounted on the left side of lower dash was not illuminated, I never took notice of this before, I'm wondering is it suppose to illuminate or did toyota overlook this switch for illumination? Anyone else notice this or know what the deal is here?
Any help here very much appreciated!

    Thanks
    Bluefin

What prob happened is that when they went to uninstall the radio they have to disconnect several wire harnesses in diff areas (i.e. ac controls, radio. etc.) and if someone was to pull on the wires to remove that plug, the wires would possibly pull out plug. It sounds like you have a mistake made by the tech. I would leave the truck as it is...do not try to fix it yourself because they will have to see that the lights do no actually work. They should cover it under warranty and you might have to have a little electrical work under warranty.

If you do want to try and fix it yourself...just try giving the faceplate of the ac controls a couple taps in diff areas. I took out my radio and learned the hard way, and I was being as careful as poss with those plugs!
