How do you get the sensor out of the spindle??

I am trying to take my spindles off to install some new UCA's, and I can't figure out how to get the sensor out.

Yes, I have the bolt out of the bracket, and it turns easily.

Do I need to take the brake dust shield off to unscrew the thing?

 

Anyone?

I can't figure out if it should just be pryed out or twisted??

 

I figured it out...slides out, actually tapped it out gently with a screwdriver and mallet.

 

why are you taking the spindle out to install an UCA? Knock the ball joint apart and install new UCA.

 

Took alot more work to get the ball joint knocked out and the slug adapter in...it's an '03 that has lived in Chicago all it's life.

Things don't come out or go in as easy as they should.
