If anyone's wondering how their OME suspension's holding up, I think this thread would be a good way to compare our setups. Just copy and paste the above info and make adjustments. I feel like mine have sagged a little, but I forgot to take measurements before & after installation.

I will have approx. 185 lbs of aftermarket equip in the front and 85 lbs in the back very soon, but my measurements as of now are as follows:

    886s: P-23.5" / D-23.25" w/ TrimPak
    Spacers: No
    Model: DCSB
    aftrMrkt: ~165lbs (R-Fab Bumper/Warn x8000i)
    Coil Age: 8 Months / 9,000 mi

    Dakars: P-25.5" / D-25.25" w/ AALs
    Spacers: No
aftrMrkt: 85lbs (R-Fab Bumper, but minus weight of OEM bumper and Tow Package)
Coil Age: 8 Months / 9,000 mi (AALs brand new)

I love my OME coils, perfect height i was looking for to level out. Seem to be holding up well even after lots of abuse. No noticeable sag

well I took more accurate measurements and added some leafs, and edited the OP. I guess nobody cares about the height of their front OME suspension.

The reason I made the other thread Dakar specific is because lots of guys use other lift components for the front , other than OME

i wanna know how much my coils have sagged, and see how everyone else is running at compared to how high they sit off the ground (OME or any other brand). I want to put 15mm spacers over my 886s, but i keep getting mixed suggestions over it. will they add stress to the LCAs at full extension? it's half of an inch!

    3" OME lift 885s & Dakars riding on 33" KM2s
Are the spacers 1/2"? You will get twice the thickness of the spacer in lift.
    So 1/4" spacers give 1/2" lift & 1/2" spacers give 1" lift.

Well then i really need to know some specs...i didn't measure my truck correctly when i first lifted it, but it seemed about an inch higher, and rode just fine. If i can get some stats at what people are sitting at compared to their ride performance, then it'll give me a better idea of which spacer to get.

You shouldn't use spacers with 886's

The new OME " x " coils are not supposed to sag , my 885x coils haven't sagged at all in over a year

OZ-T, please give me some detailed technical speculations on why I shouldn't run them with 886s...i'm always told i can or can't, but with no explanation except for "down-travel issues" or cuz the toytec MFR said "no." how would it mess up the performance? will this put too much pressure on the LCAs during down travel? will there not be enough for up travel in the OME 9000 shocks or something...i know a little, but not enough to understand how bad this will effect my truck's performance. maybe if i drove slower when I off-road, that would compensate for the added stress? I also ask about everyone's lift heights, because i want to know how people perform on a level service with a 24 in hub-fender lift. i wanna know if their CV angles cause vibrations.

One more question...anyone know the stock height in the front (hub-fender) without TRD suspension?

Going over 3" up front with a 4x4 is bad for the CV angles , the 886's should get you 3" on their own

Even a 1/4" top plate spacer will net you 1/2" of lift , the 3/8 or 10 mm ones will get you 3/4"

24" hub to fender up front is 3 - 3 1/2" of lift over stock

Alright, problem solved. i got the 10mm spacers, gonna re-drop my front diff (r-fab's skid plates can fit a drop-diff), already have the center d-shaft dropped, and got axel shims, cuz of the AALs i added to the dakars. this should keep the same CV angles and eliminate vibes n shit

I dunno, PA...you have a different lift than mine. how much lift do you have, not including the lift given from the drop bracket? everyone says you can't go over 3", and body lifts are iffy.
