Total chaos UCA before/after

Does anyone have a good review on the TC UCA's like before and after and what they liked and didn't? Would like to know because it seems like it will be my next upgrade

 

had nothing but great experience with them. got all the parts, install went easy, allowed for better articulation and alignment, and the only got a little noisy once in my few years of ownership

 

What lift did you use them with? Did it get rid of all the alignment issues?

 

first lift was a OME 884 with top plate spacer and needed them for alignment purposes. Second was 5100 C/O with spindles, did not need but did not want to sell. Third use was with my Fox extended travel coilovers and spindles...needed them for additional travel but again not for alignment due to my setup.

 

Well I have the 5100's on all 4's. I'm getting the 5th aal and probably going to put the fronts up to 2.5 (they are 1.75 now). Just wondering if I should get them for the front or not

 

They will squeak over time.

over 3 years 1 squeak. Sprayed on some dry teflon lube and they were good to go.

 

Of course without proper maintenance

 

If your not going to be doing a full 3" its not necessary. Some people need them for 2.5" alignment some dont. I would install the shocks and see what happens to see if you need them or not.

 

Not worried about sqeeking. But thanks for the info guys. Still trying to learn more about lifting. I think another 1.5 in the back and the 2.5 will be perfect. I like it now but its a NAD bit lower in the rear then I like so that's why

 

Why don't you get 885's for the front and skip the UCA's

885 is the OME lift coil. he is just asking why you dont get lift coils instead of using the 5100's for lift

 

Well I know nothing about the lifts other then the 5100's I have now. So maybe I will research it more. But I don't want to spend an arm and a leg, although quality is still what I want. To me, they are awesome right now and feel great on the road and other people said they would be rough

Instead of preloading your stock coils , 885's with the billies on zero will ride better and you would probably still be fine with the stock UCA's

 

So if I get the 885 coils and put them on the 5100's I have now I will get a 2.5" lift? What would I do to the rear then?

Just looked at toytec, 885's are rated for 2" with an additional 110 lbs up front. So without that idk exactly how much lift it will give you. Someone else should know

 

Who sells the 885s? OME?

 

most people buy from Toytec or Wheelers.
