    How about if someone answering a poll does not "bump" the thread in "New Posts" or the user "Control Panel"?

    Kinda' annoying when a thread keeps reappearing at the top of the page or get an email notification... then check it and the last post is 4 months old but the thread got bumped because someone answered the poll.

    Actually I don't mind it.

    It's just that polls need to have a reasonable expiration date.

    No poll older than 60 days really has any value - as far as collecting new poll input - anymore. The attached thread may merrily live on, of course.
