quick question: looking at shocks and what not. Fox's 8" are 17.5ish collapsed and kings are 16 collapsed. would running the kings with a 2" ext rod making them 18" collapsed work better or worse than keep the std length and being 16"?

    TIA

If talking about era wrapping the tubes to the back or rear cross member to protect diff, just remember u gotta be able to ge the diff out if need be. That's the hard part making it removable or enough room to wiggle the diff out...at least on 1st gens it would really take away from clearance.

Here's wut we did on mine

Would like to tie it into the the front crossmember at some point, gonna need heimed uppers to do it like I want. Also rig something up from front to rear crossmember that's stout yet able o take diff out. Right now I'm just running 1/4" aluminum the didn't have the normal grade got up graded to their highest grade (forgot #lol) for free :)

    Thanks Cory.

Will probably never live in California again, but I'm hoping my next duty station is in Arizona, Texas, or Colorado. From there I would trailer the truck back to socal once or twice a year. Combine visiting family with a TW pismo run would be great.

Got new shoes for the truck. First step in reversing the neglect that its had in the last year....

Next up is finally doing fuel cell and frame boxing that ive had for over a year. Then a new front bumper and a removable rack. Still have interior stripped too so cage will be somewhere in the mix as I recover from money from wedding.
