Hi Mike, if you can find Portuguese sweet bread in Maine, it is a reasonable substitution and makes great French toast. We have a sizable Portuguese population in Southern New England, maybe you can find it locally.

That was a freak lack of planning on my part when constructing the garden. I hope I fixed the problem with water flow by naking the garden wall higher in the rear of the garden. But it was a lot like work to restack the stone.

The fish get fed 3 times a day. Two would be acceptable but three is optimal.

I had the entire family involved with the pond, since my wife and son approached me with the project. My son does not like the fact that all pond work is pro bono.

 

going for a bike ride. Should be intersting today. We will have a few guys to go hit the dirt trail. I'm sure i'll be exhausted trying to keep up with them.

 

All part of being part of the family. I've helped my dad build 4 seperate fences over the years, digging holes by hand.
