Mounted my ccfl's behind the shrouds. Got one projector aligned and jb welded in place. They're so much brighter than my previous projectors.

Nice build man. Those duratracs are growing on me. I wondered what happened to the 882 coils. Did u decide against em? I cant decide on them or 881's with 10mm kit. Without weight up front I wonder how bad of a decision 882s would be:confused:

I just been spending money elsewhere. Without weight up front I don't have a need for 882's. I'll switch to them when I eventually get a bumper, and I should be able to sell the 881's quickly after.

The mounting posts can be cut to any length I want. The wait for getting them welded has caused me to do this lol.

I used to run spidertrax (1.25") but that's because the tundra wheels I was running had to high of a BS to run 285's, wouldn't clear the uca's. I sold them when I get new wheels. These wheels I have now have the same BS as stock (4.5").

And I love the flex of them but yeah mine squeak too. Mostly on drivers side and it drives me crazy.

And as far as headlights have a couple updates as well. Painted the edges to match the green on the shrouds. And got some new headlights because I wasn't happy with the old lenses. Wish I could have just bought new lenses somewhere.

How did you mount your halos on your original retrofit setup?

I applied silicone to the bottom of the ring and held it onto the shroud with a piece of tape until it dried.

Yeah holding up pretty good. If I didn't drag the rear bumper over rocks from time to time I would never have to touch it up. It only takes 2 quick layers to fill in any spots that tear off. Super easy.
