Yes that's a winch punch out. And by no means did it feel cheap. It wasn't "light" either, it just felt like it was made of a lighter material than ARB. I could be wrong though, I've only picked up one ARB and it was a while ago. Overall, I felt like that thing was very strong.

I wish they had some specs on it on their website, but this product is brand new.

It looks ok from the front but the 3/4 shot just doesn't do it for me. It looks too "boxy" and its angles take away from the tacoma's lines too much. Ill stick with my demello. the price is on point though.

    same shit as everyone else
The fog lights on the TJM bumpers plug right into your stock fog light connectors. TJM is bad ass and I'm glad they have stretched their legs into the US! I'd get it if I were you!

It's totally an ARB rip off. Looks good though. They took the Sahara Bumper and added light hoops to it.

You've never touched an ARB have you? It's thick all round. The corrugation just makes it that much more of a tank.

For that price, I'll be getting one very soon. I've been trying to build up the courage to spend 1k on an ARB and another $400 for their fog lights. Does anyone know if the TJM is airbag certified like the ARB?

I'm sure they are stout bumpers just like the ARB. Remember that these bumpers are made in Australia where people actually NEED them unlike the mall crawler bro dozers here. I've never been a big fan of huge light hoops other companies put on their bumpers and the ARB is the best looking hands down. If you want real protection buy australian.

To be fair, TJM began in 73 making bull bars for VWbugs...ARB began in 75 making them for Land Rovers

I'd venture to guess that ARB still uses a similar design from their original...and TJM's vw bug bull bar was probably a far cry from what they make these days

    Looks good to me!!

TJM and ARB are good competitors in Australia and the rest of the world, and have been for a long time; both of them make great products!! ARB beat them out in the US market though, probably just branding; I think both companies products are very comparable.

If I remember correctly, TJM pulled out of the US market a few years ago, I guess they are trying it again now!
