Im wanting to get seat covers. I hear a lot about Wet Okoles. But, how are the TRD's? There is a pretty big swing the price between the two. I know there are others out there at different price points. Just wanting to get some feedback

Dont do the TRD's in AZ. They have a harder plastic/rubber center area that gets stupid hot. Like oh my god my skin is melting in the fires of hell hot. Like leather seat type hot. I had them on my 05 in Wa and got burnt a few times.
Trust me, shell out the cash for the Wet Okoles. I have had them for 2 + years and they have been great. Stood up to my, wheeling, dogs, kids, parties, sex, etc. You name it and I have probably put my WO's through it.

I got cover king's from Costco and like them. Cheaper than wet okoles

I have heard decent things about the cover kings as well.

I've had the trd covers on since mid 2007 and they've been great and still look new. I live in a desert envirerment and have never had an issue with them being too hot (i have the front side windows tinted though...might help keep the truck cooler.) One disadvantage of the trd's though is the fact that they don't make matching covers for the rear seats.
I installed coverkings on my dad's subaru and wasn't impressed with the fit compared to the trd's.

Wet okole's hands down had a set in my 99 4x4 You could not kill them.. They were 8 years old when I took them off to trade it in and the seats under looked brand new. Sold the 8 year old covers on crack list for 200 beans. Nothing else will hold up like that... Jim

I like my wet okoles, they do show a little wear on the driver's side bottom now though but I abuse them.

Although I'd probably do Katzkin if I were to do it all over again... I kinda like the whole black leather thing and miss it. But that said, the wet okole's are by far amazing protection... like Chas said I've put them through a lot too from chemical cleaners spilled on them, puke, ect... nothing phases them.

hands down this right here is the best, most heavy duty seat covers i've ever had, and no swamp ass like okoles or the like.

    http://marathonseatcovers.com/

have them on the fj and the taco, fit tighter than a condom, all cordura style burl.

If you want to have a look before buying you can check my shit out.

Also made in the USA, a rarity these days.

I love my Wet Okoles, but not the wet back feeling in the summertime, even with the ac on.
