are these mods cool?

Ok, I think I am ready to get my lift. Here are the mods that I am thinking of. What do you think? Are there any suggestions from anyone about something else I should add or do before I go with it?
- Revtek "3 inch lift
- coilovers
- UCAs
- Bilstein 5100s
- AALs in rear

 

Sounds like a perfect set up. Make sure to pick a quality 3" lift kit

 

theyre very cool but if your going for looks idk i wouldnt spend all that money for all loks and not for off roading

 

revtec spacer? if you are getting coilovers you don't need the revtek. and i assume you mean the rear 5100s.

 

doesnt the revtec 3" come with spacers and aal or blocks?the c/o r not included in that lift?dont understand what u r getting.

 

What is your goal in lifting?? Looks or Offroad performance?? Budget?

The Revtek spacer kit isn't needed if you are getting coilovers(for offroading)...or coilovers aren't needed if you are going to use a spacer kit like the revtek kit (for looks and not offroading).
You'll get 3 inches from the spacer or from the coilovers (provided you get the right ones) in the front..and the 5100 shocks will go nicely with that.

UCAs are also a good idea if you are going to 3 inches of lift. (Total Chaos and Camburg are the two most highly recco'd ones around here I think..Light racing is also recco'd often.)

The rear AAL with extended shocks in the back is a good call too. May want to think about extended brake lines in the back at least. There may be some shim kits and drop mounts you could need if you have vibrations or angle issues...but you need to install the light first and then decide if you need the extras.

 

I'm kinda confused to, my Revtek came with the 3" spacers and I had a choice for AAL's or Blocks in the rear

 

All great suggestions. It answered alot of my questions, because I don't know much about lifts at all. Still trying to learn. Will the Revtek lift still be good for occasional offroading? I am going more for the looks, but want the option to go offroading once in awhile.

 

The spacer lift will work off road...Go with an AAL in the back. You will have a rougher ride than stock or with coilovers...but it's doable.

If you go offroad with any regularity it's worth it to go with OME shocks and springs, or adjustable coilovers.

 

if your simply going for looks, i suggest you go w/ the front and rear bilstein 5100s from downsouthmotorports.com. it will give you up to 2.5" up front and give you tuned shocks for less than $300. and they will be good for occasional offroading....
