    Thanks.

Does/did this apply to the 2012's. Just bought mine, wouldn't they already have it installed?

    Good info thanks.

You can tell by looking at the leaf pack itself. If it has 3 curved and 1 flat then you have it. If you have 2 curved and 1 flat then you don't have it done. Im not sure if they put this on the new ones or not.

I just put the bilstein shocks on the front of my truck and it made a world of difference. Set them at 1.75 and put some 265/75/16 nitto terra grapplers and it does sit higher, i could definetly run 33's if i wanted to but i have enough problems with the 2.7L engine. I left the back end stock, should i put an add a leaf on the back or the bilstein shock and set the front to 2.5" and the back at 1.5" or would it not make that much of a difference? tell me what you think ill put some pics up.

I assume your at a level stance with your setup. Its really your preference if you want to add an AAL. There will be a noticeable difference if you put a 1.5" AAL in the rear and set your fronts to 2.5". Just to be clear the rear bilstein shocks don't have any height adjustments. Any lift in the rear will be attained by leaf springs or blocks.

Nope just two curved and one flat. Has anyone had the TSB done on the 2012's? Any issues getting it done?

    Thanks for the information.

Well could I put an 1' block in the back and put the fronts at 2.5'? Would it be a noticeable difference

I think with that setup you would probably be nose high. It all depends on the truck. They all seem to be a little different. Any lift you have is gonna make a difference. If you go with 2.5" in the front you will need UCA's to keep your caster within spec and will have a more solid feeling suspension. With an AAL your going to have a stiffer suspension in the rear. It's all a matter of personal preference.

Seems many folks don't need new UCA's @ 2.5" but I sure do. To me, and apparently many others since always get compliments, 2.5" front/1.5" rear is about perfect. Of course, I've seen them with 6" lifts and they also looked great. It's all about your personal preference and what you're willing to spend.

You have no caster. Doesn't that make it cruise like ass? I mean wander all over the road?

It doesn't really wander too much. It's when hitting uneven surfaces that I notice it. At some point I'll get different UCA's.

I'm pondering doing this...my Taco rides like garbage with the stock stuff...I put dirtbikes in the back and the springs are toast at this point. Is there and option to NOT add lift...I don't want my truck to be any higher...it's hard enough getting the bikes in and out. I just want the improved ride and greater capacity.

    I'm all ears...

[IMG]I added a Tuff Country 2.5" AAL with new Bilstien 5100 shocks to help increase load capacity. Then I had the adjustable Bilstien 5100 installed in the front to level it out. The ride is 10X better then the stock ride.

When you say it rides better, do you mean it rides smoother? How does it handle as well?

@ BaconTaco, the ride is alot smoother and handles great. The billies took almost all of the corner diving out and has a firm yet comfortable feel. My factory shocks were pretty shot. I was bottoming out a lot.

I used the factory u bolts. If you don't want too much lift then go with the 1.5" AAL. That's the exact same reason I went with 1.5". I didn't want too much lift. They make quite a difference.

They are the factory off road. I don't remember the actual size off hand.

So let me ask you this.

I had the TBS done on my truck last summer. How much did that lift my back end?

I'm also going to have the 5100's put on the front to level it out. What should I have to have them set too?

Also, what do you mean when you say "UCA's"?

Sorry if these are stud questions but I don't know much about working on trucks and want to get it right the first time.

    Thanks.

i murdered everyone with these questions last year and in the end went with the 4th leafs (tsb) and the 5100's all 4 sides, and set at 1.75 in the front. looks awesome IMO and looks like the whole truck is lifted a bit
