I have the Bilstein 5100s at 2.5 (close enough ) and I have noticed about a 1 to 2 MPG drop. (I have BFG A/T's as well, which are pretty heavy.)

also keep in mind that larger tires are going to throw off your speedometer which will mess up your calculations. Hypertech makes a product that corrects this though.

Lift will change mpg as it increases more air flow under the truck and more resistance.. Not trying to call you out just helping man ;)

To add, it increases the frontal area of the vehicle. AND if used with larger tires, increased rolling resistance, and rotational mass. :)

huh i have a hard time understanding that.u didnt add mass to your truck with the lift.weather your stock or lifted its still the same front end as far as wind drag.and i still got the same milage with my lift and stock tires.just put 265s on so that im sure will change the milage a bit.

Rotational mass. If the tires are larger in diameter, Rotational mass increases.

I have 5100's all around with 885's up front, rear AAL's, and 18"s on 33"s. My MPG on the street= "Don't Care.":D MPG on the highway= "Don't care cause the truck looks sick!";)

Part true...The increased sail area from the also lowers MPG.
