Thank you sir. Quick question for you, do you still activate your 4x4 from time to time? Is it safe to do so with the setup you have? I ask because I read elsewhere that it is recommended to do so just to keep your front diff opperating correctly.

Almost. Just almost did for a second there. :D

It's not gonna hurt anything. I blew one of my CV's and pulled the axle out and kept both the inner/outer cv cups in place and finished the day off (some of which was in 4 low...actually 2 low at that point). The recommendation on putting it in 4wd is just to keep all the moving parts lubed up and moving.

Honestly, my suggestion would be to save your money or collect your parts and do it all at once. Impatience causes more problems than it solves. That...and why bother pulling the truck apart again just to install the axles.

my bushings werent noisy because I havent touched my UCA as far as greasing since install, just the heims/uniballs. Ill give that stuff a go and see if it requires less to keep it quiet lol

How do you wash it off? It gets super thick and doesn't even come off with the pressure washer.

Don't use lithium grease on your heims/uni's. Good way to destroy them.
Dry lube only. Pick your poison, triflow, finishline, dupont. Doesn't really matter as long as its a wax dry lube.

Race truck parts make race truck noises. This topic has come up so many times over the years. Overall consensus is deal with it ha. Most lubricants will only do harm by attracting dirt. Good uniballs and heims are self lubricating. If you don't like the noise you shouldn't be running them :) IMO Teflon dry lube is the only one that is ok

What would you guys lube your shackle bolts with? I'm replacing the nuts with some locking ones to reduce the torque on the bushings.....the springs are used so the bushing where already lubed originally and thinking I should put some lube on the bolts? I have some synthetic grease I use for my uca bushings?

you shouldn't need lube on the bolts, the inner sleeve is what pivots
