    Just installed mine. Toyota didn't do any favors with the wire looms but I was able to get a few wraps around the ac control wires before soldering them together. I didn't solder the switch where the instructions said but about halfway between there and the pin locations so the wiring is all hidin inside the switch itself. The switch is nice and bright and overall I am very happy and money well spent. Rep to rcbs204 for doing what Toyota should have done in the first place.

    Time to tackle the ac switches now!!!!

    Big thanks to rcbs204 for making these! I installed mine last night and it works great. The toughest part of the install was prying the 4x4 switch and the AC panel from the dash. They were difficult at the start but eventually came off without any breaks or marks on them so I guess it pays to take your time with them. Thanks again for a great little mod/product.

    To all my loyal customers, thank you for your purchases.
    I have come to the realization, that if sales are not what they are suppose to be this year, this will be it for the 4x4 switch. The volume of sales, is no longer there, so if you are interested in this mod, you may have 7 months to get one before i pull the plug. If sales some how go up, i will think about an extension.

    2012 is not a viable option, they changed they switch too drastically for me to make anything for it. You would be better off buying a new 4Runner switch.
