I got drawn for Lake Talquin second week

 

Well I passed out for the first time in my life today.

Had to get a mole removed to check to see if it was cancerous. They numbed me up. cut it out. stitched me up..and I was fine thru all this. Doc walks out the room and i guess I knocked out then as the nurse was bandaging me up.

Apparently i was shaking pretty bad when out. I woke up extremely tensed up and felt like I just had a horrible dream. Kinda freaky. I kinda remember being out and feeling stressed and felt like i was shaking a bit. Apparently I punched the wall.

Weird shit.

 

Worst part was I was I was down in Jax..and everybody had said it was ok to drive myself. So I was stuck there for a while..Finally got ahold of a buddy who took me to his house...chilled out there till dad got off work..went back and felt good enough to drive home. made it back safely.

 

I think thats called a seizure

 

They said its rather common. Asked me if I had eaten lunch..ect..didnt really have any reasoning other than it just happens sometimes.

Was at coastal dermatology on st johns bluff between beach and atlantic.


And Mgrande, I hope it wasnt. dont have any history of em in the family and have never experienced one before..hopefully they would have enough knowledge to recognize a seizure and take the proper precautions. I dunno if it was fast violent shaking or what..didnt tell me much.

They didn't call 911? I have seen docs and nurses call 911 at doctors offices for far less (and dumber) things.

 

nope..when i woke up they sat with me for like 10-15 minutes. got me some water..checked my pulse and said I was looking better. (apparently the color drained outta my face)

told me I was good to go (and they knew i drove myself there).

Had a buddy pick me up, chilled at his place for an hour or so..then dad came by and we got the truck.

 

the doc said some medical word when talking about what happend. he said is quite common. just like passing out..I have no idea wtf it was tho.

 

syncope? hypotension?

 

hypoglycemic? cause u said asked bout eating

 

na it was the name for the passing out i guess.

he asked if i had eaten lunch cuz sometimes people pass out easier on an empty stomach. I had eaten like an hour before my appointment. so i guess they were just trying to figure out what could have caused it. been fine all day tho..kinda cold but no dizziness or uneasy stomach or anything.

 

yea syncope is passing out

shit was kinda freaky tho.

I kinda felt myself doze off like I was falling asleep. then when I was out I kinda felt like I was extremely stressed out and tensed up. couldnt wake myself up like being stuck in a bad dream. then i came to. doc was over me. told me I had passed out had me laid back with my knees up. I woke up extremely tensed up. arms were out flexed like i was doing curls. jaw clenched. and I had like nervous shakes. calmed down. sat up. got some water. and off i went lol
