morning all: :rain: for the next 5 days.
my young buddy and his brother in law just got back from Lake Oneida in NY.. they showed me a bunch of small walleyes from that lake.
then they got the other cooler out, from the oswego river. 31" walleye, 29" walleye, and some "smaller" ones, down to about 25 inches. the 31" weighed 10lb. 10 oz.
that's what I got a 17' starcraft for, and a truck to tow it. only one problem-NO TIME! :notsure:
also, just picked up a 9.9 johnson motor, to use as the kicker on the 17', and as a trolling motor on the jon boat. OH WELL, at least I have the equipment to go!
now, IF ONLY IT STARTS, when I want to use it!

I was there for work a few years back and I have to agree with you.

I do enjoy the St. Pete/Clearwater area. I have inlaws that live over that way.

Evening Carl, Susan and anyone else. Beautiful day today. The weather has been just great. High 60's low 70's, clear skys. Supposed to get into the 80's this weekend. Our summers up here rarely get into the 90's, maybe a half dozen times a summer. Mostly mid-eighties.

Evening, Paul. I could deal with that... been nice the last week or so but forecasted for the high 80's and low 90's and higher humidity :( Loved the weather last weekend - lows in the high 50, highs in the upper 70's - Perfect weather.

I don't mind the temps as much as the humidity...

    yeah high humidity sucks.

edit: even in winter. low humidity is key to making snow. not just temps. most ski places like it to be 28 degrees. some times if humidity is just right they will start at 31 or 32 degrees.

summer you get really bad storms some times hail.

I'm 6' @ 165lbs and work in the woods all day but at 66 gravity is taking it's toll! I still would rather go skiing at 10 then sweat cutting wood at 95!

fixed. and FL would be hell. everyone running around like chickens with there heads cut off. main would probably be crazy but not as crazy as FL. also the people from FL that come to gatlinburg in winter can’t drive worth crap in snow. even is the roads are plowed and salted. saw a few crash.
