    i was quoted $60 per wheel. Seems like a really good price to me. Im probably going to have it done.

    I guess thats pretty much the normal price. Why do they have to keep your truck for a week. I can't live without it for more than a day

    Because powder coat is a process. Clean and prep the rims, including taking tires off, spray the powdercoat, bake the rims, make sure it is all right, refit the tires and re-install on your truck.
    I'm sure they have other things going on and probably have limited oven space.

    There is pretty much NO way you are going to get rims PCd in a day. Hell..even paint won't cure in a day.
