Bedrug for $352 Shipped

Just ordered one. Its the cheapest I've seen them sold for!

 

Seen them cheaper still. Amazon is not always the best go-to. We have several manufacturers that will not back their warranty or provide customer service if their product is sold there.

 

Is Bedrug one of them?

 

Yes, they will send you back to the seller to resolve the matter. Odds are is the seller will leave you hanging because they won't want to pay the cost out of their pocket.

Also too, it looks like someone got to the retailer in the link as the price has been changed already.

 

I dont buy from Amazon anymore... they have been using software to dynamically change the price of individual items on a moments notice using information it gains from those who view it - it registers users' past purchases, how much they are willing to pay for things, as well as gathering info from social media like income levels. What all this means is that one second you could be looking at an item for $350, and a minute later it will be up to $400. It even continues to change once you have it in your shopping cart. I just dont deal with their shit anymore.

ive never had those problems, nor do i know anyone who has. not calling you a liar, but i dont think there is an epidemic.

 

Yeah, some blog type site is very credible.


I've had Amazon changed prices in my basket, only if I leave them in there for a long time, as in days. Even then, I get a notice stating the price change when I view the cart.

I've bought a bunch of stuff from Amazon. The only thing I hate about Amazon is I get charged sales tax when I buy through them.

 

Got-Chrome is a sore spot with THI, the owners of BedRug. There are some details I'd prefer not to discuss with the general public, but I can assure you that you will most likely be left in the cold should there be a problem. Good luck.

 

Oh well, from what I've seen, bedrug is a durable product. I don't foresee any problems with the product just because its sold by someone else. As long as its in the mfgs original package untampered with I'll be good

Amazon Prime account, NEVER once have I had it do this to me. Between my wife and I we buy about 4 times a week from Amazon.com. Hell my coffee I get from there has been getting cheaper each month.

 

Hey, I'm not here to tell you how to spend your money. I was just sharing the info I had about the subject. That "blog type site" is the online presence of The Oregonian, a highly reputable west-coast newspaper. I originally read that article when it was printed and just happened to find it online through a search. If you want to research it further please do so... seems Amazon got into trouble several years back when it tried to do this with DVD sales, but had to stop after a backlash from consumer groups. From this and many other sources, it seems they've started up again.

And speaking of sales tax, google "Amazon sales tax" for some more interesting reading

 

Bedrug is a killer product, and I doubt you'll have any problems. It was more of offering you caution when you order something from Amazon.

Observations from 12 years in the aftermarket parts business. People can look at 200 websites and see the exact same price for an item, but then they find that one website that is significantly cheaper than all others. Rather than ask questions or do a little homework, they dive right in and buy. When disaster strikes with that sale, they are left hanging.

I hear ya, and I've been down that road, usually the item never ships from what ive seen in cases like that, but according my fedex tracking number, it'll be here tomorrow morning I'll post pics for sure!
