    NO SHIT!!!! I LOVE THUNDERSTORMS!!!!!

When I was at the Sturgis rally one year......100 degrees and clear sunny skies. Gilrs titties n ass hanging out....Amazing......within 1 fucking hour - 80 mile per hour wind, golf ball hail and thunder that moved shit, lightning strikes EVERY 2 to 3 SECONDS, then after twenty minutes of Armageddon - sunny skies and like nothing ever happened. I had a hard on....was AMAZING!!!!! Drive to our cabin in Deadwood and by 5 pm it thundered and lightning for 12 hours plus straight.

Going thru Yellowstone - mid 80's , sunny, got my shorts on and t-shirt, drive thru Yellowstone checking out Buffalo, Bears, etc. and drive on up to Old Faithful and it's SNOWING!!!! Amazing

Here in the valley we don't get SHIT!!!!

Ha ha! Gotta love the sights in Sturgis. It kills me how quick the weather changes out here. We really don't get anything like that here.

We get rain!:( We use to get t-storms back when that shook shit. WTF happened?

The weather over there was crazy and fun.

Getting into Cody Wyoming after driving from here straight htere, the 1st thing I wanted was BEER!!! I'm walking up and down the aisles like a confused infant in a strip club wondering "wtf"?!?!?

The lady notices my OREGON shirt and says "you look lost". I said "don't you people drink over here"? She laughed and told me to go to a bar or the drive thru liquor store across the street for beer.....:eek:

I go to the bar - walk in , and to the left was a beer cave. I said "well fuck me runnin ain't that crazy"! The drive thru at the liquor store was 5 or 6 cars deep....LOL. Good times.

So I've been noticing a steady decline in my MPG since I put the Duratracs on. I used to get 300+ miles to the tank. Now I'm lucky to get 270-280 if I stretch it out. The Duratracs are load E, can the motor really not handle that little of extra weight? I've got to find something to make up for the lost mpg

How many gallons do you put in, though?

Mitch, are you correcting for the change in size (I assume you changed size)?

    I think I average about 250 miles

    282.2 miles and 17.5 gallons.

I though our tank was 21 gallons. The needle was vertical and on E.

    same shit as everyone else
Here is a funny tid bit of info on gas mileage. If I drive 300 miles on I5 or similar with the windows up and just the fan on low i'll get around 17MPG at 65ish MPH (AC compressor off). If I drive the same exact route with the windows down and the rear window open i'll get about 18.5-19.5... Heck on the 190 miles home from Tahuya my scan gauge came out to about 19.4 for the entire trip home with windows down and rear open. How that works is beyond me but it's at least a mile or two more consecutively with the windows down. (must have rear fully open for this to work) This isn't a one time thing either, I've tried it many times and always get the same results.

I get the light on at 17ish as well so yeah there is still 4 gallons left but I wouldn't go that low. I'm curious if washing the mud/dust/shit off the truck reduces your parasitic drag enough to help any? I doubt it but some people were discussing it in another thread and claimed it helped them gain a mile each gallon. I think temperature helps the most as the air is more dense the colder it is and altitude plays a large role as well.

    What's your tire PSI mitch?
