Thanks for the warm welcome (I think hehe). I think I'm kinda prepared for shenanigans and so forth, but do have a couple observations from reading some of the later posts in this thread.

First, free beer is good although some beers are better.

Second, free beer plus legos = take off shorts and throw them on the floor (dogs are not very interested).

I'm pretty sure the wheels on my truck are more "bro" than Babytruck's. I will fall back on the fact that mine came installed on my truck when purchased.

Do not shake anyone's hand. If you do, you might need to see your doctor. Also, do not walk into a room unannounced (but if you do, post all information on the web.)

The above are just some subtle observations.

On a more serious note, why would you put all these mods on a 2WD vehicle? (referring to the below link.) Honestly, I would like to know if there are any benefits (yay nor nay). This is my newbness shining brightly.

    desert pre-running.
whoops and high speed bumps as opposed to crawling the rocks.
plus the extended travel makes it hard to keep CV's in tact for more than a week. some people do have 4wd Long travel trucks but they are tricky.

Thanks for that answer. I think I understand what you are talking about.

Doesn't look like something I would be doing, so helps in the overall scheme of things :)

Did fine IMO. Gave me enough info to check some things out and think about front end vs. back end loads or a more balanced setup.

It did help me look at what I wanted to do (or not do) on my truck.

    ...too much shit to list.
Ahem. There can be a balance between prerunning and crawling. :D

I've blown 1 cv, and it wasn't even doing anything cool. In all fairness, I'm not exactly easy on my truck.
